Terms of Service

By using WorkHive, you agree to these terms. Plain language; if any clause is unclear, email admin@workhiveph.com and we will explain.

What WorkHive is

WorkHive is a free industrial intelligence platform operated by WorkHive Engineering Services (DTI Business Name 8080496), a sole proprietorship registered in the Philippines and owned by Ian Lumayno Beronio. The platform provides digital tools for industrial maintenance, reliability, engineering design, and AI-assisted work for Filipino industrial workers.

Free at the worker tier

All core platform features (Logbook, PM Scheduler, Inventory, Skill Matrix, Engineering Design, AI Work Assistant, Day Planner, Voice Journal, Asset Hub, Project Manager, Community, Achievements) are free at the worker tier and will remain free. No credit card is required to use these features. There is no trial period that ends, no per-user license, no usage cap that triggers a paywall.

WorkHive may in the future add optional premium add-ons at the enterprise tier. Those add-ons, if they appear, will be clearly labelled, will not gate worker-level access to existing free features, and will require explicit opt-in.

Your account

• You are responsible for providing accurate information when you sign up.
• You are responsible for the security of your password.
• You may not impersonate another person or organization.
• You may not share your account with others; each worker should have their own account so that platform records correctly attribute entries.
• If you discover unauthorized access to your account, notify us immediately at admin@workhiveph.com.

Your data and content

You retain ownership of all data and content you enter into WorkHive (logbook entries, asset records, skill matrix evidence, etc.). WorkHive owns the platform software, branding, and aggregated anonymous analytics. You grant WorkHive a limited license to store, process, and display your data in order to deliver the platform features to you and your hive members.

You may export your data at any time and delete your account, after which your personal data is purged per the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use WorkHive to:

• Upload content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or violates anyone's privacy.
• Attempt to access another hive's data without explicit permission.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the platform source code.
• Run automated scrapers or bots against the platform.
• Use the AI Work Assistant to generate content that violates Philippine laws.

AI Work Assistant disclaimers

The AI Work Assistant provides informational responses based on your hive data and general knowledge. It is NOT a substitute for:

• OEM service manuals for specific equipment.
• DOLE OSHS-required safety procedures and permits.
• Licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer (PME) or Professional Electrical Engineer (PEE) sign-off on engineering design.
• Medical, legal, or other professional advice.

You are responsible for verifying any AI-generated suggestion against the relevant manual, standard, or professional judgment before acting on it. WorkHive is not liable for outcomes from acting on AI suggestions without proper verification.

Service availability

WorkHive aims for high availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. The platform may be down for maintenance, infrastructure issues, or causes beyond our control. We are not liable for any indirect losses resulting from temporary unavailability.

Limitation of liability

WorkHive is provided "as is" without warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, WorkHive Engineering Services and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our maximum aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim, which for a free user is zero pesos.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the platform at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Termination

You may stop using WorkHive and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable laws, with reasonable notice where practical.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines.
